ABC Sets Midseason Selection, Agendas 'GCB,' 'River'
"GCB" ABC has set its midseason selection, organizing its Leslie Bibb-Kristin Chenoweth drama GCB and mystery thriller The River. Furthermore, the network has furthermore set dates for several reality series including Winter Wipeout and Shark Tank. GCB, known to love a Texas-set version of Desperate Regular folks, will air carrying out a Marc Cherry drama weekly at 10 beginning March 4, because the River, within the designers of Paranormal Activity, will launch on Tuesday at 9 p.m. beginning Feb. 7, completing for Dwts, which will return in March. Ashley Judd drama Missing will bow inside the time slot formerly occupied with the now-canceled Charlie's Angels and premiere Thursday at 8 p.m. beginning March 15. STORY: What's Missing From ABC's Midseason Schedule Mix-dressing comedy Push The Button will replace fellow rookie comedy Guy Up beginning Jan. 3. The comedy starring Christopher Moynihan will finish its initial 13-episode run, effectively canceleing the series. Missing within the schedule, meanwhile, are newcomer series Don't Trust the Bitch, with Krysten Ritter and James Van Der Beek and Shonda Rhimes' Washington-set political fixer drama Scandal, starring Kerry Washington. Returning Courteney Cox comedy Cougar Town was, like NBC's Community this year's week, left in the schedule. The network's midseason selection is below.
